We are pleased to accommodate returns and exchanges within 30 days on all sets that have not been opened, worn, or otherwise tampered with.
It will take an additional 1-2 business days to process your order, regardless of the shipping option selected at checkout. We ship Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. Shipping times will depend on your location. Custom orders or non-stock items may take longer to prepare for shipping. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
All Berenice hair extensions are made of 100% human hair and can thus be straightened, blow-dried, styled and curled just like your own hair. In order to preserve and extend the lifespan of your Berenice extensions, however, we suggest to always use a heat protectant product prior to styling your set. Ideally if straightening or curling, we recommend that you use an infrared heat straightener, as indirect heat will better preserve the lifespan of your hair.
We recommend to only use a low heat setting of 120C/250F, as anything higher runs the risk of damaging the hair. The reason why we recommend opting for a lower heat setting is because it will prolong the lifespan of your set. While our own hair may be able to tolerate a higher heat setting, our hair is also constantly getting revitalized from the scalp, whereas hair extensions don’t get that sort of constant nutrition.
The lifespan of Berenice hair extensions vary by series,but is primarily determined by how well they are taken care of, what products are used on them, and how often they are worn.
Usually, the lifespan of our Queen of the Nile Series hair extensions is 3-6 months up to a year or longer, depending on the general care they receive.
Our Goddess Series Russian hair extensions can last up to 6-7 reapplications or more if well-maintained.
Berenice is proud to offer a wide selection of lengths. As all Berenice hair extensions are made of 100% human hair, the extensions can be trimmed to your desired length. If hesitant in regard to selecting a length, we would kindly remind you that longer extensions can be trimmed to a shorter length, while shorter extensions do not offer that flexibility.
